The Exploding Growth of Autism

A few weeks ago Stephanie Seneff, PhD, a senior research scientist at MIT, announced at a conference, “At today’s rate, by 2025, one in two children will be autistic”.  For over 3 decades Dr. Seneff has been researching biology and technology with her main concentration in recent years on the relationship between nutrition and health.

Why 50% of Children May Soon Be Autistic

According to Dr. Seneff’s findings, autism closely mimics glyphosate toxicity.  Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s herbicide,  “Roundup” which is not only sprayed on crops but is also in Monsanto’s GMO crop seeds.  Dr. Seneff presented data showing a very close correlation between the use of Roundup on crops, Roundup-ready GMO seed usage and the rising levels of autism.

Foods Containing Glyphosate

Glyphosate is used on corn and soy which means that all sodas and candies sweetened with corn syrup and all chips and cereals that contain soy fillers will contain traces of glyphosate.  Unless organic, beef and chicken are fed GMO feed which includes corn and soy.  This means their meat will also contain small amounts of this herbicide.  Wheat is often sprayed with Roundup just prior to harvesting. Though toxic enough because it is mostly genetically altered, wheat becomes even more deadly. Non-organic products containing wheat may also contribute to glyphosate toxicity.

Health Risks of Glyphosate

Glyphosate poses serious health risks and environmental concerns.  Toxicity can disrupt our hormone production, damage DNA and cells, contribute to cancer and birth defects and neurological orders.

Numerous studies have shown glyphosate show up in mother’s milk at very concerning levels.  Urine testing in one study showed levels 10x higher than Europe.

Other Possible Causes of Autism

While glyphosate may be a serious culprit in this escalating disease, there are also other toxic substances that may also be contributing to autism.  Vaccines, pesticides, mercury and even chemicals from vinyl floors have all been linked to autism.

If you are a parent, grandparent, or future parent, it is very important that you become knowledgeable on how environmental toxins can affect the body. The importance of eating unprocessed food that has been grown organically can not be emphasized enough.
